As many people who’ve been working from home over the past year start to return to the office, it’s a good time to ask whether you should consider an alternative to just jumping in the car.
The Way to Work website is a one-stop-shop for active and sustainable travel information. Many people don’t realise that the majority of car journeys are actually under five miles. New research has shown that leaving the car at home, even just one day a week, can reduce carbon emissions. That’s according to a study led by researchers from the University of Oxford’s Transport Studies Unit.
