Climate Change Risks & Challenges for Businesses

Extreme weather events and a changing climate will impact production, transportation and availability of resources, such as food.

New legislation and technology to tackle the climate crisis will bring significant changes to the way we live and how we do business, both in Scotland and globally. We are also seeing increased consumer and public pressure on businesses to demonstrate plans and take actions to become more environmentally friendly.

We all hope that we don’t see another global pandemic like Covid-19, but climate change makes the spread of pests and disease more likely. So as with Covid-19, businesses and their employees will need to adapt their approaches to tackle these new challenges.
